Nemesis 308 + 208 Match + 500 metres = Picture....

Time will tell, seems he's the only one heading to the shooting challenge maynad set up. That will shut up the op or the naysayers. If the op is on here plugging nemesis then that will come out in the wash too. Higly doubt it, and don't really care, as its not going to net a pile of sales, not among this crowd anyhow.

What truly has become evident is folks here do not appear to like guys who can shoot well, and this forum is no place to post results.

Who gives a sh*t?

Most of what I read on CGN is nonsense.

Fact is, shooting is a lot like fishing. The biggest fish and the tiniest of groups always seem to happen when it is only our word to contradict.

Caramel is a prolific poster for sure, all of his rifles are magical and he clearly possesses
jedi-like shooting abilities, big deal. We all threw the pigskin a quarter mile back in high school. If treating CGN as if it were a daily journal for all of his shooting exploits makes him happy, so be it. Those with the experience and skill to know better, need not rise to the very regular bait.

Keep em coming Caramel,

Patrick

Good shooting Caramel, very believable groups..,good luck on the MOA challenge

I have in front of me the June 3, 2008 edition of shooting times.

Page 70, shooting the Factory Savage .308 model ftr .

These are all three shot groups at 500 yds.

Best group posted is 0.88". (handload)

Second best group, 1.50" (factory load)

Third best, three groups, 1.88" using 3 different loads.( one handload and two factory loads)

Comments welcome, here too....truth or fiction?

Well my first question would be who shot those groups? While its still great shooting 3 shots isn't really a solid indicator of how a rifle shoots.

Accuracy was the average of 5, three shot groups

Article summary..."all the factory loads we tried, in fact, went under 1/2 moa..."

There were 6 different factory loads shot and they weren't even the most accurate load tested!

I'd say that is a half minute gun..

This week i had a chance to shoot on a private range were distance are a 100 to 800 metres.... I did zero my Sightron to shoot over the bulleye @ 500 metres and my rig did incredible, got many 2 to 2.5 inch groups but those were the best one, 1.4 to 2.2 inch a pleasure for the eye, sure is for mine...
