Was at the range with both my Nemesis and a Benelli, got a post for the MR-1, had 75 reloads full trottle 2600 fps+ and today tried for best 5 shots groups @ 200 metres, this rifles shoot better than me .3 to .6 is in my book very satisfactory, i am including the average group and the best group of the day... JP.

Here you go sir but this is extra hot load, would recommend that you start lower in the powder at 50 gr i have no pressure signs but from 50.2 to 50.5, i do....R-17, 50 gr, BR-2 primer, Lapua case, Amax 208 gr.... JP.

looks like youve got your self a shooter for sure.

on a side note, any time i see one of your posts all i can think about is this..

WOW!!! He's F**K'n lucky he was in a national park because I think it's open season in Alberta on F**ked up **tards like that. LOL
If anyone reminds you of that guy, call an Albertan to take care of that problem.

That guy live in Calgary, I took a course at Sait a couple year ago, he sat in front of the class, one of those guy who know it all.

I will write down in my book this 208 Amax as my pet load for this rifle, i think the only variable is the shooter, i would not think i can be able myself to shot better than .3 to .6 @ 200 metres, that still putting all my shots around one inch @ 500 yards... JP.

Now i have to find a way to figured out if a 208 Amax at 2600+ would have the juice to make it supersonic to one mile, the BC of that bullet is like .650, should fly pretty well... JP.

You would win a world championship if you could shoot on inch groups at 500 yards. Other factors come into play after you leave the 100 yard firing point and start reaching out. What might be a great load at 100-200 could turn to s**t at long range. But you are on the right track, because crappy 100-200 yard groups are even worse long range groups.

How did you make out trying to get 3000+ fps with 155's out of your 20" barrel?

Was working on the 208 Amax, now if that load can reach one mile, i will not try to reload 155 gr Lapua Scenar at 3000 fps since i will be set with the 208 but i think it is doable since i can push those 208 Amax @ 2600+ fps, we will see, it is important for me to get a load that will do the mile shoot accurately... JP.

If i was a young myself (read 35 years old) and this rifle i own now, i could dream but thank for saying... JP.

At our lake up north, completely on the other side at the base of a mountain, it is just south of 1700 metres that is almost 2000 yards, so i have this 4X8 checker plate SS half inch thick... I will set up there and make my test, like Jerry from Mystic said, i have to go 200 yards further than my objective, that should be good, looking forward to those tests... JP.

You need to get out to some long range shooting competitions. We have shooters from 12 years old to 80 years old on the line. I'll bet last years Bisley Team's average age was well over 60.
