Just got off the phone with our friends down at Nemesis Arms and got some good news! At first I must admit that we thought they were pulling our leg, today being a dangerous day for news at all, but it's on the level -- we have a gotten word that we're getting a bigger slice of our SHOT queue than expected, meaning more rifles into Canada on a faster schedule than we predicted. For the guys (and lady!) already in queue, this is of course great news, but I've also had a few shooters out there who have been contacting us hoping these would get an earlier availability timeline than discussed, and today is your lucky day too!

These rifles need little introduction for most of the shooters out there, but if you're just learning of the Nemesis rifle, they're described well by the inventor of the takedown Vanquish precision rifle, and the owner of Nemesis Arms himself, David Ives:

You can build a Nemesis in 6.5 Creedmore, .260 Remington, .243 Winchester, .308 Winchester, .338 Federal. Secondary barrels for caliber swap are fitted at the factory by a master smith.
You can build a Nemesis with a dozen or more options, including muzzle brake, rail system, Ashbury stock, bipods, spare magazines, and several cases.
You can build a Nemesis for compact size and speed of transport and assembly, or for ultimate long range comfort and flexibility.

The long and short of it is this: we have custom slots available on our upcoming shipment, going into production now, and if you've been holding off on grabbing one because of the wait or timing, your prospects just opened wide up! We're able to configure any of these build slots as any custom build you can think up; if you've been dreaming of a build with both a .243 Winchester barrel for the zippy handloads you have worked up for coyote and a .338 Federal barrel for moose season like one of Wanstalls' owners has designs on, we have a slot available to make this happen! If you've been planning a .308 compact rifle build with the 16" barrel and the "Lunch Box" compact case, we have a slot available to make it happen, too!

We can get you into a Nemesis this summer, and if this is up your alley, please CONTACT US to make arrangements for your special order today!

Cheers,
Daniel

Is it still non restricted with 16" barrel?
How much lighter is the 16" barrel compare to 20"
If I want to order another barrel for my existing package, do I need to send the rifle back to the factory. And if so, how long will it take to do?

At 16" they are still Non Restricted. As for extra barrels...Basically there are two configurations of Nemesis Rifles (vers.1 &2) If you have a blackened bolt face you have version 1 and a silver bolt face you have the "New" Savage style bolt face and version 2. All current barrels are set up for the Version 2 bolt face and require zero head spacing and can be ordered, shipped up and installed with no issues. If you have the earlier version the extra barrel would need minor gunsmithing and fitting to the older receivers. We can do that here but there would be a "cost" to this process.

Mail sent. What do current owners out there have to say about this rifle? Customer experiences, how about you Dmitri?
