So I mounted both of these scopes up and I can't decide. Both are pretty light. Both tighten down enough I think, and I can see through both of them pretty good. They both have a reticle which helps a lot.

Which one should I run? I used airsoft rings to mount the Bushnell Sportview so it was rock solid, but I used Weaver rings for the Simmons 4x to keep the weight down, since I plan to carry this rifle around in a backpack.

Simmons 4X - I love this thing, SOOO LIGHT!!!!!!!



Bushnell Sportview 3-9x, 1989 vintage. They just dont make them like this anymore!

Your Nemesis should poor gasoline all over itself and light iself on fire just for having those two "scopes" mounted on it. You should have an irony or sarcasm warning posted at the beginning of this thread to prepare people!!
 
I like the non reticle style myself..... I think you should somehow get those pics at the top of google pics search that would be epic !
 
didn't mean to poke fun at anyone, I think I just REALLy wanted to scope it out, then had a couple beer, then started digging in my junk drawer.

(My ATACR isn't in yet ;) )

I might be interested! Tasco is the best there is man! My Bushnell Sporty is good, but the 2 NOE reticle in the old Tascos was better. How much? Bottom dollar, I'm kind of cheap.


Also wanted to give a little range report on the Nemesis with the Bushnell. I'm getting 10 round whole-scope groups with it, which I am very pleased with. For those of you not in the "precision rifle know", a whole scope group is where you can see all 10 points of impact through the scope. So far I'm very happy with this setup. It'll be great for barn hunting.
 
Errr.... I can send the scope below for free, only a promise that you will fire the rifle with the scope on and don't forget the video.

Actually, I plan on shooting this thing with the Simmons and then post it to youtube with tons of tags. Not much Nemesis info out there aside from Nemesis own videos etc, be pretty awesome to reasd the reposes to a video like that. I'm out here for a few more days then I'll get it in for a few shots down range at TSE.

I'm pretty sure shooting at the stock exchange would garner you more youtube hits than just shooting with the simmons.
