nephew shot this bull on opening day of rifle season..was about 1300-1400 lbs with a 56 inch rack..yous can nag him for details..his forum name is future hunter

Yes, I know that area well. My Dad logged that area in the late '70's and into the '80's---I remember when we first cut right of way through the Straw Lake section----about the 40km mark on that road.
You should have seen the Moose there back then----and was very rare to see deer anywhere along that Cedar Narrows Road.

we have been hunting that area for at least ten years now..the moose are getting scarce in those areas... we use to spot many moose on a daily basis...but last few years we are lucky to see a few in the two weeks we spend up there...but the deer around 40 km mark at floyd and misters roads..
its sure thing to see a few every trip in or out them roads
