I've had this rifle for a few years, I have 4or5 6PPC barrels, a new 6BR 8 twist, and decided to have another made in 6 Dasher 8 twist.
I should have left well enough alone, but OH NO. I removed the action from the stock, idea being to bed and pillar it. Well to my surprise there is no front action bolt hole, and no recoil lug ( I know I should have researched further, I auto thought the recoil lug was on the action NOT SO). So I guess I'll have to move the shoulder ahead on the barrels to match a addition of a recoil lug. Is this set up common on glued actions for 6 PPC custom rifles?
