Netlfix Hunting movie

Hey I got to watch this movie!
Its awesome!
Funny, frusterating, really funny, very typical, semi rednekkin at times but alot of WTF and Twists in the Movie i didnt see comin...

Watch it with an open mind !, about a 'Pro'hunterman pushin huntin onto his son..an ya can just imagin its happened so many times, maybe you or others close, alot in common for myself LOL!

Loved Don! Is Don is Good! Unsung hero

Ha ha :) document it is not, hunting movie it is an lots will have a but in common with a few sections for sure haha!

Im a huge Danny Mcbride fan... Eastbound and down is amazing... But this was a flop with not nearly enough Danny Mcbride being Danny Mcbride.

nah i kept sayin to my buds that this Don is a legend an was hoping the kid would acknowledge that Don was 'cool' , an i was hoping Don was going to Punch Buck in the chin too lol
 
I liked it. It was so obviously cheesy I thought it made it really good. How they portrayed the son was dead on, as far as being in that awkward stage of wanting to be an adult while still having some serious child like tendencies. I think if anyone watches this movie and walks away thinking less of hunters because it is an accurate portrayal of how hunters act, and how a hunting trip goes, they are so disconnected with reality it isn't worth taking their opinion into account. I found it entertaining and good for a chuckle(after a hot knife), as long as it is not taken to seriously.
 
I too was exited to click on it, hoping for something along the lines of Meathunter, I guess I missed the "dramady" and turned it off after 10 minutes.
Gonna give it another go, not into hot knife, so 4 or 5 pints beer goggles might help??

Calibre was only watchable because of the indoor and outdoor environments. Technical inaccuracy spoiled just about everything to do with the firearms/hunting bits.
 
Have not watched LoaWDH yet, but it is on my list. When the preview rolled with Josh Brolin and Danny McBride I knew it wasn't going to be a documentary, not sure how much it is going to be a 'hunting' movie, vs a movie set in a hunting setting (for instance 'Warrior" is not an MMA movie, it is just in an MMA setting). I woudl in no way expect to get something as good as 'Meateater'
 
I tried to watch Calibre... Will be skipping this and Walking Out and just watch actual hunting shows.

How nice it would be for pop culture to celebrate hunting a bit but I’ll let the audiences that need to actually watch this stuff.

I’ve been digging up old Jim Shockey shows... much better use of time.

The Legacy of a Whitetail Deer Hunter is a comedy, not a hunting program.
It is what it is, a movie, have seen worse that's for sure
