Never expected this 😓

Ordered 3 firearm parts during their boxing day special. Didn't hear anything from them until I send an email on January 4th. They reply back saying one of the part is not in stock even if their website say it is. I just request to cancel the whole order. Bought my parts from brownells instead. What's the point to pay for a website with a live inventory that is not accurate. Seems like a lot of Canadian retailers can't make this right.
 
Couple weeks! I feel terrible you had to wait for such an eternity. The best thing you could have done about that was waste everyone's time here with this thread.

Try calling them, they will answer the phone. I deal with them all the time with no issues at all.
 
Call them. It takes less time than writing this post would have. You can even do it while driving to the grocery store, on speaker phone in your car. So you can't say "I didn't have time".

In getting tired of posts like this. Pull your goddamn phone out of your pocket people and just call.
 
I bought a used handgun from a small shop in central Ontario on Nov 4, a few weeks later I inquired and was told the CFO was dragging its butt. I got the reference # and called the CPC and it turns out the shop didn't submit my address so they were waiting for someone to call! After sorting things out with the CPC I was told it was off to the CFO for approval. I then received the transfer notice a week or so later, then the registration sheet a week after that and the shop STILL hadn't shipped the gun. After calling the shop yet again the owner assured me he would mail it that day......another week and it finally arrived.....Jan. 4!
 
When I used to work behind the gun counter, people like the OP were what used to be a daily occurrence.
Real examples of the "issues":
"Cardboard box isn't perfect - that corner is damaged!"
"Too much oil on the gun!"
"That box was already opened, I'm not taking it!"
" Are you trying to sell me the gun made in 1954? (about the SKS)"
"I can't hit anything with this ####ty rifle! Did you zeroed it? What!?"
List goes on and on and on...
 
Well, guess I didn’t make it clear then.

I DID talk to Wanstalls and I did received that confirmation in LETTER, thanks people! And that conversation was 11 days ago. No update ever since. I checked my order status online almost everyday for the last 10 days, and it remains the same ‘in progress’

It is not the waiting, lol, since I waited almost 10 months for my RPAL. It’s the fact that someone told you they will ship as soon as they got approval and then nothing happened.

FYI, this is the 5th restricted firearms purchases I made so hey yes I am a bit frustrated since this never happened before and I am complaining, lol, what would you folks expect from a guy who wanted a nice little something for his birthday but could not get it on time this time, candies? LMAO

And yep I hope you could just ignore my thread Bumsnag, it would be more constructive for both of us I guess if you didn’t see it in the first place, lol
 
If you haven't heard back in 10 days call/email them and see what's going on. There might be a reasonable explanation. If not, do business with someone else.
 
Too many slaggers on this thread..The guy has a beef let him air it. I'm sure some of the slaggers here would be the first up in arms so to speak if it happened to them lol
