Never handled a Norc 1911.... where are the sharp edges?

Can someone maybe point out where all the sharp edges are on the Norc 1911's? I have never handled one before and am really not sure what to expect. I just don't want to be surprised when I order one. As long as I know what to expect it won't be a that big a deal. I mean are they really THAT sharp?

Would it be expensive to have someone like Gunnar radius those sharp edges? I know Hungry said he did his own, but I would never trust myself to do it.

Thanks

On my Norinco 1911s, I found that the top rear edge of the thumb safety, top edges of the slide release, top corners of the rear sight and some of the exposed edges of the grip safety needed smoothing.

I have to say that ALL four of my Norc 1911s were shootable right out of the box.
I just like smoother edges.

Not difficult, just a medium size fine-cut file and a stone, plus a bit of cold-blue.

2 cents.

I've owned a couple and don't think any of the edges on the slide or frame are sharp at all. The only thing that I could see as being sharp is inside the frame and slide the surfaces are a little bit rough, and will need to be smoothed. Other than the rough surface I don't see much that would cut or catch anything.

Do you guys find their is any difference between the (newer manufacture) Np-29's and the full length (not commander) Norc 1911A1?

I have the 1911C and I haven't noticed anything sharp. It is an Armco tuned unit though so that may have something to do with it....
