Never on Wild TV ?

Wow really?...to me ethics and morals that you can't explain are someone elses.

They should not be decided by others or where you live.

I would really enjoy a show on dogs hunting anything from deer to birds to be honest.

I do not use dogs for deer (only because I do not own hounds) but do use dogs for pest control and digging sport. Dogs have helped feed and protected man for thousands of years, it is not going to stop anytime soon no matter how some of you feel about it.

DOGS AND HUNTING = GOOD TIMES/ BLAST... INDEED!

ethics

I believe ethics and morals are probably judged within oneself. We hunt deer with beagles and it is most enjoyable. I live on a farm in southern Ontario and shoot deer in the fields or from a tree stand but it is not as exciting as a deer chase with the beagles baying on a hot trail. I have witnessed deer loping ahead of the barking beagles and the deer will stop to listen to the dogs and determine weather to keep running or back nibbling on the clover! I seen deer jump off their normal runway and watch the beagles go on by.Deer have the advantage all the beagles do is move them around a little bit. Most of the time the deer will just take a big circle and end up back where the chase started.
Dogs running loose or chasing deer out of season here are SHOT. It is unlawfull to run deer out of season. You can get a nusiance permit to deter( chase with a dog) deer from an area but that has restrictiona as well: ie after the fawns are of age to keep up with the doe.
Just my take on this.Good and safe hunting to all.
