Never sold a gun, how would you sell a revolver if you weren't on EE?

I applied over a week ago for EE, still no word so hopefully asking this question isn't violating any rules. I have a revolver I want to sell because Im interested in another one. Not sure if Kijiji is wise which is why im asking here. Im sure there are pros and cons to that service. Not sure i want to consign it either and Ive never sold one before so im hoping for advice. If Im accepted on EE Ill list it there as its probably my best bet.

Thanks

Kijiji is great…but not for firearms. They will find your ad and remove it…Not sure about the corporate politics, but IMHO I think they are anti-gun.
Some rural local classifieds (old tri-ad comes to mind) would be the way to go, but EE here on CGN is usually your best bet. Take good pictures or have some ready if you are email savvy.
There are other gun forums on the internet…not sure if I can name names, but Send me a PM and I could help walk you through it.
Cheers
Joel

Your gun club or if your club has a forum, I'm sure it has a buy and sell area? Another one is consignment, but you'll take a hit on the store/seller %.

Thats my consignment option but like you said Ill take a hit. Also im concerned about it not looking as new as it does now after its been in and out of a gun display case every day until it sells.

I suggest applying again as it should not take a week. You probably just slipped through the cracks. try PMing a moderator. Keep in mind a moderator might be looking through your posts to see is you contribute constructively to the community. ie you answer questions, participate in discussions and not a troll. Once convinced your not on this site to stir $h1t ot just sell stuff then he will let you in the EE.

Also don't forget to post in the introduction forum letting know your intent to join the EE. First time I applied, I neglected to so this and I wasn't given access.

Sounds like a good policy I suppose but I don't know a ton so its hard to contribute, I joined to learn. I have 5 handguns, wanting another but selling one I don't really use seemed like a good idea.

I did go that path and introduced myself.

Saying you want in the EE isn't necessary in your introduction post - I never did. From my understanding, the EE is a privilege and not a right and there are varying reasons the Mods accept or decline some members from joining. Since FB went on their anti-gun tear, there has been a flood of people coming over to CGN here, which in one way is good for the options, but there are no doubt some scammers in the mix that may need time to flush out unfortunately. Being active on the forum is probably the best approach, perhaps a Mod can step in and confirm.

Work your way through the maze and get on the EE... I find that is the BEST way to move firearms and products. I sell 25 guns on the EE for every 1 I sell at a gun show.

Interesting. I thought I initially was not allowed was because I didn't re-introduce myself requesting access to the EE even though I introduced myself when I first joined CGN in 2014.

Thanks for that note.

First, I do not do EE approvals.
There is an application process. Just look in the Forum Rules and Terms, and follow the procedure. It may take a bit of time to gain access.
