So many options, so little time and money.

What were some peoples first upgrades to their black rifles?

Ammo is NOT an upgrade. It's a NECESSITY. I think alot of people get an optic for it.

and with a nice stock and foregrip, maybe pistol grip too, it will be nicer to shoot.

For real... ammo ...lots of it. No magpul this or tacticool that is going to make more smiles than a pile of ammo and a nice black rifle to run it through.

# 1 get a proper cleaning kit and lube (I like Froglube)

More noticeable upgrade would be a decent trigger, Rock River has a 2 stage trigger for a decent price. I just got the Timney drop in myself but its pricey. I have never been a fan of the milspec triggers.

Going with a new Muzzle wouldn't hurt. I like the Battle Comp 2.0 but there are cheaper options.

Optics are tricky because there are so many options. I run a Eotech combo and want to pick up a rifle scope as well.
