So, I have been following CGN for a while now. Patiently waiting for my PAL/RPAL. Which arrived early Feb, and here is the first purchase, gophers beware.
Scope: Bushnell XLT Mildot 3x9x40
Ruger 10/22 Target
However, I noticed at home after the scope was mounted at the gun shop that the Butler Creek cover is in contact with the barrel. This was not the case at the shop, unless after some more adjustments it now contacts and I just did not notice. Will this cause any major issues?
It does create some pressure to open and close the cover. But will this affect the scopes perfomance/life span? Also, any way to spin the scope covers, because after adjusting it to my eye the cap now opens to being above the bolt. Any suggestions?
I have photos, except I cannot figure out how to post them. It says in my posting rules I cannot post attachments.
Thanks in advance.
