NEW 10/22's CHECK THEM !!

So I just stripped my NEW 10/22 and the dam barrel bolts where LOOSE !!!

seriously, the driver side one was out at least 2 full turns and the passenger side one was out 1/2 a turn...... I should have checked it before shooting it the first time.

so word to the wise, CHECK YOUR DAM BOLTS AND LOCK TITE THEM BEFORE SHOOTING !!

Bought mine last year and never thought to check. Must be good as it shoots great.

well I was disassembling it and flet something wobble, thought it was the scope but nope, all tight there..... then checked the barrel and it was wobbling.

Count yourself lucky. If it came loose it means it would be easy to replace with a bull barrel. I know some guys who spent more than an hour trying to coerce their's to come out.

see nopw thats the other piss off... my tactical soloutions barrel is on two week backorder

wish I had it in hand so I could have just dropped it off since I took the current barrel off the reciever anyway so I could clean things up and tighten it down.
