Well, since I am a cheap SOB, and go for instant gratification vs long term, :D I decided to do a little messing around with my new 1911a1 Commander Norc.

I just stripped it down, sand blasted a few parts, worked the trigger a bit. It was 9 lbs and rough, I got it to 7 and not bad, but a little more work and I will get it to 4.5 lbs and smooth. I will eventually buy new guts but thats later, looks and feels way different for about 45 minutes work. :bird: Bright Nickel plating will come later after I get a few boxes of ammo down range.

Nice Nork! I have one I spent a buck or two on but I now want one just to leave stock. Great guns that go boom everytime you pull the trigger and mine certainly feeds everything I have thrown at it.

Stay Safe

LOL Actually I noticed that after I posted the pic, that red is remanants of Jewlers rouge and oil, I had to polish up the barrel a bit, the finish sucks out of the box. Hopefully the blue is just light or something, since it's new out of the box except what I did today :)

Na, just need to keep them oiled. I will be replacing or nickeling them anyways, I just wanted to play a bit.

Geez, I thought maybe you spray painted them matte grey...
