Is the Barnes any good for a new guy?

Which number Nosler Max? Barnes is a good manual, as are most of them (they have had issues in the past with printing mistakes in the data sections, so be watchful). If you're a newbie to reloading, get a copy of "The ABCs of Reloading", probably the best way to start out there. - dan

Actually I bought The ABCs book quite a few years ago.

What do you mean by number for the Nosler, Dan?

This book was recommended to me by Knockknock for being a laymans term kind of book and for step by step.

I have the up to date Hornady and Lee books. The Lee was an acidental purchase...............

Well, each Nosler book is differentiated by a number, "Reloading Guide Number Four", for example. I would have to check the shelf, for sure we're up to 5 and maybe 6 (I have a LOT of loading manuals). - dan

Looking to get the "most recent" edition. No one seems to have them. Did some looking around on line anda no lucka, so far.

I think the current Nosler is 6 which has been out for more then a year. I am waiting for the new one so atleast they have accubonds in there
