New .22 - Henry Golden Boy with pics.

These are very pretty rifles. Was my original choice for a .22 lever gun until I found my Winchester 9422. I was hoping for massive figuring like in the catalogue photos, but at least there is a slight bit of figuring in the buttstock.

Congradulations. They are a beautiful well built rife. I handled one once and was impressed with the heft and feel of it. Very high quality, and you should enjoy it.

Wow, that is a very nice piece. I'm definitly going to own a lever .22 some day when in need of spending a few hundred. As for the figuring; I agree the, buttstock is a beaut.

Never tried a Browning so can't say.

That is a great looking rifle. I do agree though that all the promotional pics have stocks with much more figure in the wood. That would be one of the main selling points for me on the golden boy.

i love octagonal barrels. i was at wss a few weeks ago and was getting my hands on a few different .22 rifles, then i asked to see the golden boy, and wow, was it ever solid. great feeling rifles.

The Henry GB has a longer lever throw compared to the Browning BL22, but it's nice and smooth .
