new 243

[Rembo]

stock,barrel and scope from CGN EE.....started with a used 8" twist Kreiger 6x47 BR tube that I got from Obtunded,..I recontoured to the Remington Varmint contour, cut off three inches to give it a new throat and chambered to standard 243 Winchester at 25" long and fluted it....stock is an HS in the Remington VS pattern with a green stippled paint job, can't remember who I got it from but I like it, scope is an Elite 4000 6-24X that I got from Why not? about 5 years ago....action came from a brand new SPS 7-08 that I picked up at MilArm a couple weeks ago.....stainless trigger came from my 7mm STW that's now wearing a Timney...also made a .250" thick stainless recoil lug for it....loading 105 AMax's......hopefully we'll make it to the range this weekend....

That there is one sweet looking rig! Sounds like you did most of the work yourself, probably make us sick knowing what you have in it! We need a range report next.

"...get one in a lefty..." Order a left handed rifle through your local gun shop. Then find the fancy barrel. A used rifle will do, if you can find one. Any calibre based on the .308 Win.
