Posted a question a few months ago regarding choke choice for the 28ga. Thanks to all who responded. Just received my new RBL 28ga last Friday, made by the Connecticut Shotgun Manufacturing Company. Really happy with it so far. Specs are 30" barrels choked skeet and mod., straight grip, beavertail fore end, 4x wood upgrade. To be a grouse/woodcock gun with some fun skeet thrown in.
Here's some pictures

I got the RBL, also 4x wood, cost me a pretty penny but worth every cent. Gorgeous gun! Make sure it doesn't become a safe queen!

It'll definately be hitting the swamps with me chasing woodcock and grouse this fall. A few "character" marks won't detract from it's appearance IMO. I ordered the gun direct and had "Questar", one of this board's sponsors handle the importation for me. Was all very painless except a bit of a wait. Cost was $295 for their services, plus shipping from Barrie ON by express post and GST, about another $300. No duty as made in USA. Cost to get it here was about 14% of the guns purchase price which isn't much different than getting dinged for GST and PST. Gives you access to a whole other world of guns that just aren't available in Canada.
