I usually keep my rifles pretty much stock. I don't like to change much.When it comes to cleaning, stripping the Remington's bolt is much easier than the Browning's. The shape of the Browning's pistol grip doesn't work for me, but others like it. Out of the box, I'd expect the Browning to shoot a bit tighter, but the Remington will usually shoot as well with a bit of fiddling. If you're interested in aftermarket accessories, there's much more available for Remington 700s, so if you intend to do any custom work in the future, the Remington is a better choice.
