Just scoped this one up tonight. I think it's been 3 years since I chambered and installed the barrel.
Had the stock done a few weeks ago.
A lefty 700 in 350 Rem Mag. Benchmark 12" twist stainless tube @ 20" and a Wildcat stock.
With the 2-7 Freedom in Talley LW's it comes in at 7lbs 3 ounces.
Did it up for my left handed son, I think he'll like it but he had better hang on..LOL
Have 225 and 250 Woodleighs loaded, range day soon. Elk hunting next week.

Disagree with above... I love the .350 Rem Mag and with a little online hunting I came up with 500 brass in short order... I shoot the 250 Partition exclusively in my two. You built a nice clean looking rifle, well done, and it will absolutely smack down game. I carry my Ruger Stainless .350 RM alot when guiding.

Nice rifle build and great caliber choice . i know of a dozen Moose that didn't like the cartridge . That short 35 is a killer lots of components out there to purchase besides who want to shoot the generic stuff.

Very nice! That should do a number on elk!

I've been wanting a 35cal something for a while. 9.3x62 rifles seem a lot more common in lefty guns though, so I might end up going that route.

Nice rifle brother , are you taking out for Elk next week ? If you do , I might have to give it a try .......... I have a nice 98 in 358 I can trade you for it lol .

Reminds me that I need to get my .35 Whelen out that your rebarreled and chambered for me close to 15 years ago.

Sighted it in today with 225 Woodleighs. Not stellar results but one group at 1-1/8" and some from there to 2" with 3 different powder charges.
Have some 225 Accubonds and 225 TSX's to try also....but not right now.
It's a punchy little bugger off the bench for sure.....LOL

I had best results with 225 and 250 gr partitions in this cartridge, in two different rifles. - dan

When I had mine, I ran cheep 200gr Hornady sp and was shocked at the crono results, and with the on game performance. Never went to the 250gr as my norma was made for them.
I like everything on this rifle, well I would have cericoated the barrel the same as the action, but that is just me.
Should be a beauty rifle for everything the bush, and even on the flat lands.
