Ian, nice rifle but I think i'd like a bigger brake and a heavier gun, that one looks light.
Previous range pic of fifty looks close but he's right, you gotta site it in first, you lob one over the berm and you've got bigger issues than if you'd been shooting a .223, something blows up somewhere 6 miles away.
Especially if that one shoots as well as my buddies , he's never had two holes touch yet.
Ellwood epps has one on display as well right now.
And I believe there is a caliber restriction as to using .50's to hunt, besides you'd have to line up 3 moose in a row to get one you'd be able to eat later.

when your out and about target shooting, whats your usual target range when your using your .50?

Unfortunatly its 200yds. for load developement but I like to empty em at 1000 when I can. Hoping to load enough to make a trip out west this year worth while.
