Here is the new rifle Guntech(Dennis Sorensen) put together for me. I have the load dialed in for it now and it shoots 1/4" for 3 shots quite regularily. My worst group in load testing for it was 3/4". I am very happy with it, and great work by D.S.

Nice work!
1/4 Inch eh......wow.

Groups

The 47 gr load shot .18, .21,.24, and .33. These are 3 shot groups as this is a hunting rifle. The 46 gr loads went under half inch as well, .3-.4". The worst groups were 3/4" with the 45.5gr load. This is the first time I have ever used the TMR reticle before too, and I think it really helped in shooting better groups. The tiny "box" in the middle of the reticle makes a very precise aiming point, and I prefer it to standard crosshair that cover the aiming point. This is the first 1/4" I have ever owned, and I have lots of guns!!! My 18 pound 6.5x47 doesn't even shoot this well.

6.5x55

The 6.5 SE is an amazing cartridge. Two of my long range shooting buddies have 6.5 SE rifles, one based on a Rem 700 LA & the other a pre-64 Win 70, and they are really accurate all the way out to 900m. Serveral others are playing with the Rem 260 and the 6.5 LR, but it is hard to beat the 6.5 SE, especially if yoiu want a reliable feeding rifle.
After you put the PG&T bottom metal on, what was your final magazine capacity? Did it go from the standard Remington 4 rds to the standard Winchester 5 rds?

Thanks, Jay
