I just received mine this morning in the mail. Ordered it from Moving Target as well. It has the newer finish, nice and dark. Only one of my battered magazines matches the colour though 
The rest of the rifle is very mint and shiny, came all nicely oiled, and that wood (essentially fiberglass) looks great. I'm sure as hell not tacticooling this rifle up!
IMO the finish looks much nicer than that crappy gray that was used on the ones before the June shipment. Looking forward to shooting it on Saturday!
