Another 450 rounds through my M&P 9 today
, I love shooting this gun! As far as other 9's go, the CZ has a similar grip feel to the Hi Power, but is a little slimmer so it's worth a look as it is a great quality pistol for an excellent price. As far as quality goes, check out pistol-training.com see what Todd is doing with an M&P (actually that site is an incredible resource, check it out anyway) also see MP-Pistol.com as it answers most of the questions about the M&P, including info on getting a better trigger pull and the history of the various revisions. As I said I love the M&P, this is my second one (sellers remorse from the first one made me buy the second one) and I've put about 3500 rounds through them between the 2 in about a year. They have been totally reliable for me having had zero failures to feed, fire or eject. Ammunition ranged from light handloads to CF surplus (late '60s NATO marked SMG stuff) all weights from 115 to 147. I've found them to be easy to shoot well and easy to shoot very quickly with good accuracy. I think ( from personal experience) that they are the best polymer pistol out there - but I haven't owned an XD and don't plan to, - no need.
