The gen 1's were a bit ammo fussy but mostly ran well with high velocity ammo such as mini mags.
Some people had extraction issues from what I can remember and played around with 10/22 aftermarket extractors, there were also some reports of the bolts cracking.
The magazines are apparently close to 10/22 dimensions but not exactly the same and may or may not fit in a 10/22, people reported that the Ruger BX25 worked well and given the importer is showing pictures of the gen 2's with BX25 mags I would assume they are good to go even though it's not what's in the box.
If they have beefed up the bolt or tightened the face of the bolt to help the case stay under the extractor when recoiling and ejecting they should run better then the Gen1's.
The new one's also have a takedown barrel, it will be interesting to see how they run and if any internal improvements have been made.
The wood one is kind of funky, M16'ish buttstock, AK style pistol grip and a FAL'ish foreend.
