New Airgun Forum

Don't think that forum will last trying to compete with Canadian Airgun Forum....
They spelled "Gunning" wrong, too. <sigh>
Are airgunning or airguning even actually words?.... Can you misspell a word that doesn't exist?.....lol
So typical - someone puts forth the effort to add another potential resource for the benefit of the sport, and all you can think of doing in response is to dump crap on his efforts.

There are hundreds, if not thousands of other airgun related forums on the 'net, so what is the problem with another that may perhaps be the breath of fresh air that many (Canadians) have been looking for?

As for the "spelling police" - please note that the owner has corrected that tiny detail.

As for "airgunning" being a word, perhaps a ten second Google search could have negated the need for your comment. The term "airgunning" has been around for a very long time. For reference, the book The Complete Airgunner (1907), by R.B. Townsend describes it's contents as "showcasing a variety of airgunning techniques". Seems the word has existed for quite some time.

It really is sad how some folks are so ready to condemn a fellow gun-nut's efforts, rather than to offer encouragement and support.
I fully intend to support this new airgun forum.

Sorry it bothers you Len.

Bad spelling irritates me. It makes it difficult to read. Having to stop and try and figure out what the writer was trying to say, when they can not spell, is a pain in the arse.

A spelling mistake in a website name, isn't a real positive sign, either.

I wish the fella best of luck. But my commentary was strictly about the spelling mistake. I'll tear up the ticket. :)

That someone figured a word doesn't exist, just because the spellchecker lights it up...sad too.

Cheers

I am with trevj on this one. Spell the website name
correctly/conventionally so that people know what
it is. You don't want people smirking at your efforts
to create something good.

I just registered on Airgunningcanada.com

I re-discovered the joys of airgunning. Sold my FWB300S (thanks again to Len for his help) and bought 2 (two) used but mint CZ Slavia 630s and a brand new Norkie 1911 9mm pistol with the proceeds:D

These CZ 630s are no slouch for accuracy and due to 495fps rated muzzle velocity, no need for PAL. It is almost a one-holer at 7 meters.
