Hi Everyone,

I am looking for a cleaning plate for a gun if thats what you want to call it?
It seems to be a stand that your gun sits on with a plate under it and some compartments for cleaning tools? I checked with a place here in Kelowna and the said they wont have any till next season, whenever that even is....but i wanted one by the end of Feb?
Can any locals help?

If you're female (and I only say this because of the "Amy" part) you'll
get plenty of attention and help around here.:) If you are asking about
a cleaning rest for rifles, then I'm surprised your local Sporting Goods store
doesn't have a good selection, considering how large Kelowna has become.
I'm not from those parts, so I'm definitely not the best person to advise you.
The Best I can say is that there's a Wholesale Sports in Kamloops, but wait a
few minutes and you'll probably get swamped with better suggestions. :D

Cabela's Canada (cabelas.ca) sells several different models of "gun vise". The cheapest one listed in the Fall 2009 catalog was $34.99.
 
Howdy! try looking up MTM brand, model RMC-5. this is the set up i use and like it, handy for cleaning solvents etc.
 
Bear creek sports downtown and if not Del Selin in Vernon always has lots of stuff 545-6413 and by the way welcome to cgn!!
 
try A&C sports or grouse river outfitters among the others listed or just buy from one of the board sponsors im sure one of them carries the item you are looking for
 
Wholesale will probably have these two items in stock, and maybe others as well.

Thanks everyone for your help!!! i kind of wanted to find one locally, although i have been to the place in Kamploops before i dont want to go back on my own during the winter, and i need it by Febuary 25th!!!
I guess i better order now
