Hello.
I recently picked up an AR15. It's an STI lower, and a NEA upper. When I took it out to the range to sight it in, the first two shots were fine, however every shot since I'll have to manually eject it. When I do, it comes out cleanly (not hanging up or anything). I then fired the gun while watching the ejector... it doesn't appear that it's even attempting to come back. I'm shooting a 55g .223 round. The lower was used, the upper was brand new.
The upper is:
# NEA Upper
# S&J Hardware 11.5" .223 Barrel with 1 in 7 twist
# Daniel Defense MK12 Gas Block
# Daniel Defense Bolt Carrier Group
# Daniel Defense Charging Handle
I don't even know where to begin. I'm fairly certain it has something to do with the gas system... but other than that I'm kind of lost... if someone could point me in the right direction, that would be great.
Thanks
