Finally got my norc m4. Glad I finally have an AR. Wanted one for a long time. Took almost 6 weeks for transfer + shipping.

Going to the range tomorrow to try it.

I have to say that I now understand why some people say that the norinco finish is quite basic. I have to agree.

I believe it will be a nice AR to start shooting AR, and when I'll have enough money, I might buy a better looking one, but that's not for now ;)
 
Good job! Another AR registered in the system! I've wanted done for a long time too and am waiting for a decision to come into my head (which will most likely be prompted by a good one coming up on the EE). I was going to try an NEA but the wait times are ridiculous.
 
Great gun to learn the AR platform on!

I am happy with mine and it inspired me to move up the food chain. The fit and finish is pretty mediocre on the Norcs but they shoot very well and I never felt bad about beating the crap out of mine. Dings and scratchs don't matter when the gun is ugly to begin with so it makes you a lot more comfortable attempting drills or gunsmithing when your not worrying about damaging a $1,600 AR hahaha
