As already mentioned....gravity.
If you shoot alot, eventually guns get dropped, fall of the bench when cleaning, or fall of the rack or bench at the outdoor range. Might not happen to you cause I don't think you actually shoot your guns

Might not happen to me because its idiotic. Care of weapons is care of life
Not to mention the trigger guard is on the inside of the stock, which is concave and the ground is almost never convex enough to do something as retarded as that. Not to mention laminated wood is extremely strong and not like the balsa wood you seem to enjoy on your firearms. A real critique would have been that it probably makes shooting with gloves next to impossible, but as someone who shoots so much in Canada I am sure you have no idea what that means...

Make a funky stock for it and they'll buy it up.
I always wished my MkII had thumbhole stock. And whoila! there is the whole rifle with beautiful stock. I say if it is best traditions of MkII one shouldn't need to worry about meat being in a stock. I wonder if this stock will fit MkII or if it can be bought separately. Or should I just have another birthday...
