No, that's what it is... The M2 indicates it is a thumb button mag release; M1 Walthers have a European paddle release. AFAIK there are no M1 steel frames. Someone please let me know if I'm incorrect, as I would buy one of them in a heartbeat!

thanks for the info great help. i have a q5 in polymer and am really close to upgrading to the steel frame. just trying to try one at the club before i jump in
