New arrivals: Next gen shorty shotguns -- Kodiak & Desperado

The best part about the grizz (other than the 870 interchangeability) was the fact that it was all machined components and almost entirely made of metal - is that still the case with these? Are the non marine/chromed versions parkerized or blued?
 
So DA Shorties have gone Turkish?????

Well, that's a testament to the quality and production of the Turkish SGs, (and a positive development in the potential availability of replacement parts)

Also, likely a sharp rise in the desirability of the Chinese made steel versions that had previously flooded the market, particularly for those a bit "Turk shy"

A sample of our adaptor plate was mailed to can ammo this week.so will wait on feed back for then we they have time

Are there any plans to bring in 18.5'' barreled models or extra barrels for these? I'd love one of these shotguns, they look really good, but I wouldn't mind something with a little longer barrel. Anything in the 17.5-20" range, and I honestly wouldn't be able to resist a marine coat or the black walnut. The rail section on the front of the synthetic handguards is really cool also, I think that was a clever addition.
 
In regards to the Marine finish...are we actually talking a low maintenance, beat it up, no rust finish or is it just cosmetic?

From the photos, the receiver looks matte like my Hatsan but the barrel looks like a polished different colour (?)

I'd like to know that as well. Also curious if they're bett e quality than the previous ones.
I bought one for backpacking (really) and am curious what the synthetic weighs.
 
Desperado good to go with all slugs?
Barrels chrome lined for steel shot? (Serious question!)

Received my Desparado ,looking good, real nice checkering. Haven't shot it yet ( just itching too!!) Got some neet swag in the box with it. So I am feeling good !:wave:
Just to let you guys know ,, if some of you have been on the fence ,ya better decide quick CA is getting down to their last ones ( depending on model ) so ( Iam guessing there were only 20 of each) heads UP!!
