New Arrivals: the Holy Grail of Mosin Nagants !!! Finnish M39 Rifles in 7.62x54R

I"m not sure what receiver I have?
Top of rear tang looks like a U in a circle. Russia and USSR Proof ?
Underside of rear tang looks like something was there but faint and can't make it out?
Underside of front receiver near lug there is a 9 in a circle and a seperate 5
Right side of trigger frame it looks like a thin J and a seperate 3
That is all I have ?

Did some reading and the Finn's probably ground off my date during the build?
I assuming the tang was rusted or damaged so to make it work . just beltsand
Either way these guns were hand fitted when built...

Is it healthy to name your firearms!!!!!!!!

Garbage sticks that sold out in record time...? I doubt it.
HAHAHA That's funny.
Check out what my garbage stick shot at 100m a couple days ago. This is my best target to date. Typically at 100m I'm shooting a 1 1/2"-2" group.

Mine came from Weymajack. But he got them from Tradex. It came from the same batch of M39's.

The bolt on my M39 was a little stiff and notchy feeling when I first got it. The first stage on the trigger was a little rough too. With a little use, the trigger is smooth and light now. The bolt is very smooth too.
The gun as a whole feels like a top notch gunsmith gave it a very thorough go over.
Very pleased with my purchase.

Guys please post your targets and your M39's. It will make this thread nice to read through.
