The form is the same but they have added three new restrictions, no full auto, no ammo with tracer or incendiary components, and no handgun ammo with a projectile or projectile core designed to penetrate (steel, DU and a bunch of others). These restriction were being attached to approved forms for a while.

interestingly they deleted the column (h) for Canadians to put their Registration Certificate # of their firearms........and yes, there is still column (g) for the Serial #.....just faxed mine in on Thurs, will advise how long it takes to get it back

did you try repleting them?

I get the impression you could submit your info written on the back of a napkin, along with a note from your mom and you'd get approved.
I'll try that next year ;-)

One year I am going to mail my taxslips to the CRA and see if they'll do my return for me....lol

Not always. they sent it back and requested the changes. I made them and sent it back again.

Wow, January 2018 update, thanks Walter. I sent in my renewal last month on the 2014 form and they still actioned it.

Nope. They will accept the old form till June 30. The note i had on the email said any other form submitted after that date would not be accepted.

Here is what i got "**Please be advised that as of 6/30/18 we will only accept the January 2018 version of the Form 6NIA.**

**All previous editions of the form are obsolete and will be returned to you without action.**"

what do you guys answer to Q13 to Q15... i'm filling the form right now and i'm wondering what to answer since I want to go shoot in a shooting club in Vermont, I took my membership in a shooting club in Vermont (10$ a year lol)...

My form was renewed just 8 weeks ago and I let 13,14 & 15 blank. I also have a club membership in Montana.
