Any word on ATI's Ruger 1022 Ak 47 take down kit hical? ?

I called ATI today. The girl on the phone had absolutely no idea what I was talking about.

She said "Yeah we have them, they come in 6 sided or 8 sided." - referring to the AR10-22 kit.

I said "No, thats the AR kit. I'm talking about the AK kit specifically for the 10/22 TakeDown"

She sounded confused and clearly had never heard of it or seen it before. She then said "We'll have new products out next year."

That's a lot of money for a chassis that's plastic and no replaceable grip. While it does look good, it belongs in the price range of the AA556 kits. I love the product features-all of the recoil reducing features! Need to tame that vicious 22lr!

I agree, If this was at the $200 mark i would go for one.... $280...? not so much.

The only thing I can think of to block the sale of them here is if the RCMP decide to call it a prohibited device because it "looks" like an AK. It might be a good idea to get a pre-order in for the first shipment just in case.

The rcmp are good at that.
