Start buying milsurps and the stuff that goes with 'em. Bayonets and accoutrements, etc. As daft as it sounds. They're a fabulous investment(paid $20 for an M1 rifle bayonet 30 years ago. It's worth the better part of $100 now.) and Junior will have a university fund you can play with now.
