Well after foolishly letting go of my guide gun last year, i have been wanting one again. Lo and behold Wholesale Sports had one last one on the shelf last week. Like the tried and true .30-06, i will never be without my guide gun.:D

LOL that scope is so going to bash you one when you're not expecting it...

I have a Williams peep on mine and think it's awsome.

...............No worries. it has 4.5" of eye relief. I have shot them with scopes before with no probs. What happened to the ghost ring i sold you??

Win94...I was thinking that you should have been taken out behind the woodshed and knocked in the head with a 2X4 when you sold your first GG...:p ....Glad you have seen the error's of your ways!...:D

I really love my two, one has Leupold bases and rings, the other has Warne bases and rings. Both have Leupolds on them, one is a VX III in 1.5-5, the other is a Euro 30 in 2-7.

They are big time effective on deer and bear!!

I switch it back and forth, but I find I like the Williams better. I remove the aperture for ghost ring style sighting, but with the aperture in it's a lot more accurate.

..the blued are nice...I said I would never buy another blued rifle..that lasted about two weeks...I bought a 45/70 cowboy this week...the stainless I have looked lonely and I had my kids christmas money burning a hole in my pocket...

I was fondeling that exact rifle a couple weeks ago at wholesale. Real nice chunk of wood on the but eh! good buy!

Came back to your senses eh Mark ;)

I contemplated getting rid of mine quit a bit lately. But in the end I know I would regret it.

P.S. Your choice of rings needs a little improving though :p
