new Barrel for a5 sweet 16?? where to order one ??

I just scored an A5 sweet 16 with a mod choke
but would like to put a new barrel on it with removable choke tubes, so I can use better selection of ammunition between lead and steel shot
if its possible where would I inquire about such an Item , or what companies handle such a beast ???

You could send it to Briley for a set of tubes. If you wanted to shoot steel though , a sweet 16 was not a good choice. Congrats on the score however, if it was the one on the EE, it looked pretty nice.

There are no new browning or after market barrels for the Sweet-16. You can find tubed Invector barrels used for the Sweet but it is like seeing jesus and if you ever do expect to pay north of $900/$1000 CD for it.
Briley may or may not be able to fit tubes in it they have to check the barrel first since they are real thin . They could not do mine which is why a lot have the old poly chokes on them
I am not sure what you could not do with the mod you have
Dilly is right I would not shoot any steel out of it regardless

Don't mess with the barrel it is not a steel friendly gun . Any mods would be a big mistake . The mod is a good choke if you want to open it up handload some spreader loads . Enjoy the 16 that was my first shotgun WIn model 12 , Fun gauge for sure.

My father has a A5 16gauge. Unfortunately the choke tube is stuck in the barrel so its a fixed full for now. Nice gun though!
