New Benelli M4 clone with wood coming

Yes they are very nice guns, superb quality and pretty inexpensive plus they shoooooooot

I'm new to M4 game, so if you had to swap any parts for aftermarket/original M4 ones what would that be? I understand from your reply above that a mag tube is replaceable, correct?

Finding the mag tube is the problem, I went on the preorder from RX Arms, maybe a larger charging handle and safety thats about it, they run great the way they are

Do these need to be broken in with high-brass loads first? I used to own a different Turknelli (Canuck Operator) and it wouldn't cycle target loads reliably out of the box

Why does the mag tube need replacing, or perhaps if not "need" why are you interested in replacing it?

Looks like Thunderhog picked you a nice sample, you got some nice wood on that one as well I like the straighter grain myself and the blend of colour looks pretty good..... :) The classic leather strap is a nice tough as well.

I'm guessing it might have something to do with setting the capacity at just under 6 3 1/2" shells so that it meets the regs and alllows the max amount of 2 3/4" shells.

Complete mag tube replacement vs replacing only the crimped extension, is for appearance purposes only. Replacing the whole tube requires heating up the receiver enough to loosen the lock-tite holding it in place. If your comfortable with that and can find one, does look a little cleaner. If you've got a H20 model, would require some cerakoting as well. Performance wise there is no difference, and take down isn't affected.

Thanks Grain, I was thinking that was the other possible reason, I have noticed different styles over the years it looks like the latest batch has a relatively straight looking profile without the fins or what ever they are that I've seen in the past. I'm not to fussed on looks as long as it is easy or comes ready to take max amount of legal shells.

I got my R4 from Marstar, looks great on the outside. Metal and wood are both well finished, everything looks right and straight. There was even a "QA Passed" tag hanging on the trigger guard. Action is very smooth, trigger is light, charging handle is a "competition" enlarged type one, so I'm very happy so far.

Got any pics?

Is the rubber shipping cover in the picture over the enlarged competition handle? I would like to msee the competition charging handle

Now I feel like an idiot lol. I thought that was a handle, so I kept it like that. Oh well.. first semi-auto shotgun for me.

Hey thats how we figure it out, I thought maybe they put a new one on, they are simple to change, i have an oversized one coming from S&J hardware for my gun. You certainly can leave the rubber on, some guys do
