From the pictures and description this seems like a peculiar shotgun. Several features don't seem to make much sense.
And if they were serious about the gun for upland it would be in 20 gauge.

For $3500 if I wanted a semi-auto I'd probably get a 391 and have it tricked out by NCP or Angleport.
