^ the barrel lenght is the same as on the current 92FS - 125mm...

personally I like the looks of the regular 92FS better, but the new 90-two looks fine too.

Looks good, but it better function better than the first model...
which one 92F? 92SB?

Yes, the plastic 'dust cover' slides off the accessory rail. Click on the "NEW LOOK" tab at the top (in the link above) and then on the second button on the left "Integral Accessory Rail" which shows a good picture of the rail cover system. A lot of "old school" shooters who don't like exposed rails on their handguns will like this feature. ;)

looks like a plastic toy! Ugly in my opinion. But the best thing is someone likes it and thats good. Great seeing different equipment at the range. Heck, it would be some booring if we only like one style.

Hmm, looks like Beretta engineers took a good look at the homely old 92 and asked themselves: "What can we do to give this gun maximum mall ninja appeal?"

The gun has an alloy frame, so what's the point of that weird-looking plastic grip? How is it supposed to be an improvement over the old 92 grip? And what's the purpose of the plastic thing that attaches to the rail?

the rail protector is just that, a protector for when you don't have something mounted on it. you don't like it, take it off. the grip has been changed so that they don't have to make two different frame styles, the standard frame and the Vertec frame. now the grip can simply be changed out, and you can have a variety of different grip sizes and angles as a result. as well they've now incorporated some sort of recoil dampening system into the frame, which means the new barrels won't fit into older guns. I suppose that's because of the number of breakages they've had with the .40's.

also IIRC the the capacity will be higher as well (was 15 with standard mags, now 17?) not that it will effect us :(... and like Slavex said there's going to be two drips available; regular and slim.
