How many times have you seen a new, very large caliber, awesome looking firearm and thought "WTF?" Well.... now there's a cartridge that literally has "WTF" in it's designation. Yep it's actually called .700 WTF. It's about time SOMEBODY thought of naming a cartridge WTF

There's a thumper for sure. It's based on a .50 BMG case cut back to 3" and
loaded with 1132gr. cast boolits pushed to 2000+fps. I'm sure there's heaver
projectiles being tested in this uber chambering......Ouch!

Oh I know there are a lot of different loads around that range and why not? Don't think we'll be hunting T-Rex anytime soon unless somebody actually made a real Jurassic Park. Elephants and bears on the other hand would be within the suitability envelope. Using this on a gopher though? Hahaha overkill, much?
