New bits for the Glock 48

Just want to give thanks to a fellow CGN'r for hooking me up with a few accessories for the G48. The "Hyve" +2, extended mag and slide release are great! I wasn't sure about this pistol at first but the more I shoot/handle it, the more I like it.




*obviously the +2 mag extension is pinned to allow only 10rds in the mag*
 
I ask then why even have the +2 extension if you have to plug it anyway? The point of this gun is it's compact size. Then you needlessly make it larger. Only thing that makes sense is if you have very large hands and your pinky was off the grip. Perhaps you just like the aesthetics. Help me understand.

I just like the look of it with the extension. I live in a country that I can't carry, so the longer grip doesn't effect concealability anyways.
 
my dad is visiting and we had this very discussion while i was showing him my G48, neither of us like having our pinkies handing out in space but we both really like the feel and shoot-ability of the pistol.

OP, i like the add on's!
do you mind if i ask where ya got the base plate?
