Some of us who recently took the Black Badge course at Sharon are going to a Level 1 three stage match in Alliston this Sunday. Just a heads up as of now there are 10 spots left in the 3:30pm time slot. 10am, 12pm and 2pm are full.

I will take the risk of talking to myself to share some thoughts. :p I shot the qualifier in Alliston today to complete my Black Badge. It was a lot of fun. Thanks to everyone who set it up!

I think IPSC and IDPA mesh well together regardless of some of the "popular opinion" out there. :p

I know my times at IDPA are definitely going to get better as long as I remember not to leave my loaded mags on the ground, not to reload without cover and to use cover. :D

When shooting ISPC and IDPA you don't have to worry if there is a club shoot on any given week. You can find a shoot any week.

Now I really need to find some time to reload because I have gone through a ton of ammo in the past few weeks.
 
Congratulations to all who had their qualifier match today at Alliston and passed. I hope you just found something that you can enjoy for years to come, as many of us already do.

As for matches to shoot - we're lucky here in southern Ontario, there is somewhere to go almost every week, especially if you're willing to do some traveling. Problem mostly is where to find time to go to all matches that you want to.

I'd also like to congradulate the newly qualified shooters! I think we had half-a-dozen that shot their qualifier today. All seemed to do well. Kudos also to the Sharon instructors - their students were all safe!

Big thanks to Yuri, Carmine, Terry and all the other RO's and everyone else that helped out! These matches wouldn't be possible without their time and effort.

Hopefully we'll see you in September!
