I took a trip over to New Brunswick today to go to the Sussex Hunting and fishing Expo, it wasn't what I expected and I didn't end up buying anything. Leaving disappointed I decided to stop by my local gun shop on the way home and picked up this cool little beast for $60 bucks all in. It's a Riverside Arms break action 12g with a 30" barrel, from what little I could find it may have been made by Stevens depending on the age. I love single break actions and decided that this had to be the third in my collection. It's marked on the fore-grip, barrel, and metal latch for the fore-grip SV 264, any body have any idea when it may have been made? It's also marked choke bored but looking down the barrel there does not seem to be any taper which is odd. Where I bought it I was told they thought it was 2-3/4 but seeing as it's not marked I decided to check with a spent 3" and that seems to fit no problem so I'm not really sure what it takes. All in all I really like the look of it, it may not have any bluing left and the action has a brown patina but it has history.
