New boyds stock first coat of linseed oil stained with dark walnut stain

yep, it was very light in colour so i dyed it with dark walnut dye, let it dry then sanded a little, the gain is pretty dark with light spots on the rest. Im sealing with linseed oil, i think its starting to look good, im on the second coat of oil, third coat goes on tonight.
not for now, i ordered a mds mount from m14.ca along with a Jpoint red dot. Those rails look badass, never crossed my mind to put one on. The rifle is going to be used for hunting so i want the weight to stay down as much as posible.
I havent fitted them yet, I ordered all the metal parts from treeline and waiting for there arrival, I wanted to keep the synathic stock together just in case I wanted to use it some day, when i fit the parts from treeline ill let you know how easy or difficault it was.
