Run it through, make a pass inside the case neck to knock off any rough spots. And thats pretty much it. Some do take a bit of a beating, good to run 'em through. You did not have my option,LOL Size , chamfer, load no trim req'd

I trim, chamfer, and load, once fire formed to my Encore breach, I group them and "try" to keep track of them. I have never had any trimmings come off of new brass, but it's just a little extra step to make sure.

Always "No. 1", and deburr the flash holes ( just this once). ( Generally, burrs noticed in only 2 or 3 per hundred )

Always kinda wondered, too !

Just went through a 100 new Winchester 25-06 - about two weeks ago.
maybe 25 percent stood "trimming" to 2.485" - the balance were under. The longest I found in the batch was 2.492 - still "O.K." . Several case mouths were flat spotted .

For hunting rifles I usually re-size and chamfer--don't trim until it has been fire formed in the rifle I am going to use it in. I separate my brass by batch and by rifle.
