I got one friday at about 7:20 pm. 33 points, 60 inch spread, 870 lbs. on the scales when registered.

It only took 19 years of applying for a tag, but, I managed to take my first moose this season. It was a 12 point bull with 55" spread, and went in to the cooler at 760lbs.

I got my non-resident tag filled in zone 12...behind JD Irving sawmill operations outside of Juniper, NB. 16 point bull....shot at 350 yards with a .30-06. The big fella dropped immediately. Only hunted 30 mins...came right into the cut when we called him...pretty fun stuff...we had trouble pulling him out with the ATV though...the bike actually came back over top onto my uncle...lucky he wasn't hurt. He said enough of that and we then used his grapple skidder which was a mile down the road working....much much easier to load them this way.
