very interesting! love my pierce action. what is the cost on the stock you've chosen?
jefferson just enlightened me on the 6slr, really looks like a winner. good luck with the build, can't wait to see the result, lee

Thanks for a of the complements! The weight should come in at 5.5-6 lbs if my calculations are correct but I will be sure to weigh it when it is done.
I have been planning the build for quite a while now so it is nice to see it progress to the next level.
The stock was around $1200 all in I believe straight from Kyle at XLR, PM me if you want an exact number, I can look it up. Just having a local guy put it together.

Amazing collection of parts, going to make my gun look ghetto by comparison!

Its not what it looks like that counts, how it shoots is what matters. Did I tell you the story about when I got my azz kicked at a comp shooting my decked out TRG 22 by a 83 year old guy using some old POS Mauser action target rifle? LOL

The Ti rings came directly from Murphy Precision.

Sort of know the feeling, a guy I recently shot with put his first 3 shots out of his gun into about .5 moa at 900+ meters. The TRG's must be the weak link eh? LOL!

Ha,Ha,Tell us more about his POS Mauser action that kick your azz...

Don Hall put a whoopin on everyone that day. I went in so overconfident(as did a few others) and he quickly showed us who the Alpha male was in that pack. I relish in the experience now but I didn't feel so hot on my way home late that afternoon. I wouldn't pick up Don's gun for fear that someone would see me touching it, it really looked like a monkeys lunch but it shot lights out and more importantly so did Don. A great man that Don Hall.

Marcoman - you know that was all sh!t azz luck right?

Sharpshooter jr - The barrel is a Benchmark from North Shore Barrels with the carbon wrapping done by Proof Research. The smith is a local guy.
